For A Lifetime. Not Once-In-A-Lifetime.
Learn more about how we prioritise the environment we live in and love.
It seems like, more and more, safari harks back to a time that is long gone; you might call it ‘nostalgia travel’. But setting expectations of a bygone era does this landscape a huge disservice and sets false realities.
Staying in one of Kenya, or even Africa’s, most beautiful and protected landscapes - just as Lolldaiga Hills is - it’s impossible not to be taken aback by its perfection. But as travel becomes ever more of a luxury, we feel passionate about our guests engaging with positive conservation travel - making that long haul flight count.
At Moon’s Camp, we want to challenge the status quo, and move safari into the present by moving away from the classic phrase ''a once in a lifetime trip’ - but why does a safari need to be once? Plenty of holiday-goers go back to destinations they love time and time again, especially when they feel an affinity for it.
We want our guests to end their time with us feeling like environmental stewards through their involvement in the landscape, and by pledging an ongoing commitment to environmental and social regeneration - either in their home country or in the holidays they take in the future.
Sustainable travel for all, forever.
Words are good, but actions are better. Click on a photo to find out more about how every decision in the camp is made with sustainability at the forefront.
And giving proof…
At the end of every year, we look back at our actions, our guest’s actions and the impact we had - and look to the future to grow and improve.
