Got The Bug? How we aim to protect our guests from Coronavirus
Got The Bug? …. We mean the travel bug of course! At The Safari Series we make sure that only travel bugs are encouraged at the camp - and nothing else. Now that Kenya is travelling more, our camp is now open again to guests from inside Kenya. We have laid out the following rules and regulations to work to protect our staff and guests from Coronavirus.
To make sure our guests are kept as safe as possible for infection from Coronavirus, we have followed advice by WHO on safe practices and by following the rules set by the Government of Kenya:
Complete disinfecting of all rooms and main areas every day
Safari vehicles to be washed and disinfected after every game drive, and at the end of each day. Guests also have the option to drive in their own cars, rather than use The Safari Series safari vehicles
Guests have the option to eat alone on their tent veranda if they so wish, in order to maintain social distancing
Each guest will be encouraged to take out AMREF Flying Doctors medical insurance prior to travel
All staff will have their temperature taken at the beginning of every day
We want our guests to feel comfortable and safe within our beautiful home, and we will work to provide an environment that promotes these ideals. If you have any questions regarding our Covid-19 policies, please get in touch.
